Amazing Banksy Graffiti Street Art by Robert Banks

Banksy is a work that is phenomenal and often become controversial because some people think Banksy is a vandalism. But precisely because the banksy graffiti become much loved and favored by many circles as the image conveyed an important message or a criticism, such criticism usually associated with social, political, economic, and governance. The purpose of this is to give warning of the policies that are considered wrong or detrimental to the people.

Banksy is a well-known English graffiti artist, possibly named Robert Banks. His artworks are often satirical pieces of art which encompass topics from politics, culture, and ethics. His street art, which combines graffiti with a distinctive stenciling technique, has appeared in London and in cities around the world.

Possibly born in Bristol in 1974, Banksy began as a freehand artist before switching to stenciling around the year 2000; his anti-war, anti-establishment and pro-freedom graffiti images began springing up on city walls in the late 1990′s. Although he has given numerous interviews and even published several books, Banksy’s true identity remains unknown.

As written in DailyMail in March ‘08 Banksy pulled off an audacious stunt to produce what is believed to be his biggest work yet in central London. The work, above a Post Office yard in Newman Street near Oxford Circus, shows a small boy, watched by a security guard, painting the words: ‘One nation under CCTV.’

Andrew Newman, 35, a businessman from Dulwich, who works locally, said: ‘It was only on Sunday morning that the Post Offices guys realised what had happened.’

Under British Law this is considered to be vandalism. However isn’t that the whole point of his art? Blurring the edges of what society thinks of art /vandalism, right / wrong, acceptable / unacceptable? Would we think about those issues if it was just a piece of Art on a wall in a gallery somewhere?

Graffiti Chris Brown - Album Cover and Track List Download

There is something to say about a man overcoming adversities and returning to something that he knows so well. Chris Brown is such a man. After the whole drama he endured, he comes back with a strong album. The tunes are catchy and sublime. He has a plethora of melody, rhythm, and beats that keeps the listener tuned. The song "Brown Skin Girl (feat. Sean Paul)" is especially surprising coming from him. It has a distinct island flavor feel that we have never seen from Chris. "I Love U" is very catchy and could become a radio hit. It has the club feel but is not too techno-driven. "I'll Go" is a good ballad but not powerful enough to elicit a response. It terms of overall album Chris does deliver. That being said there is still much he can improve on. I still hear the same Chris Brown that I've heard since he came out. While he has matured in many ways, his album needs to reflect that maturity.

Chris Brown started work on Graffiti in 2008, but the album’s course changed — along with everything else in his life — in February 2009, when Brown’s physical attack on Rihanna ignited a media firestorm that threatened to derail his career. The excellent “I Can Transform Ya,” “What I Do” and “Wait” exemplify Brown’s talent for futuristic, club-oriented R&B, and show what the album would have looked like had the Rihanna incident never happened. Regardless, the most crucial songs on Graffiti are those that address the assault. In “Crawl,” “So Cold,” “Famous Girl” and “Fallin’ Down” Brown speaks directly to Rihanna, and to his credit, he manages to express anguish, regret, and affection in a way that he hadn’t been able to in interviews. The closing song, “Gotta Be Ur Man,” is overbearing and desperate, and Graffiti is better ended with “I’ll Go,” which strikes the proper tone of acceptance and love: “If I don't come back, girl your love was worth it, that's the one thing I know / And if I don't make it back, girl remember that I said I'd go.”
